Macromastia over Time
A Case Study in Virginal Breast Hypertrophy

2035

With the now commercial use, although highly regulated, time travel devices, it is possible to monitor the specifics of human health changes over days, months - even years. At the Massachusetts Institute for Health and Human Services, the task for the eleven members of the Health Occupations Team is to study cases in the past for a better understanding of future disease prevention. In link with the Human Genome Project, some of the Team's findings have actually lead to breakthroughs in the study of skin cancer, heart disease and some malignancies in and around the brain.

On the morning of April 13, the package on my desk was one of personal interest. The subject of study was a twelve-year old girl that had been diagnosed with Virginal Breast Hypertrophy. Upon reading further, the girl had first showed signs of breast development at age eleven in early 1993, but after four weeks, the development had escalated, limiting her mobility and ultimately requiring therapeutic surgery to relive the massive discomfort and unmanageable growth. The total time of breast growth was twenty-three weeks at which time the young girl turned twelve and was tutored at home for the nineteen weeks leading up to the surgery. The girl returned to school the next fall with no discomfort from the previous episode and stepped back into normal functions.

The letter left me with a raised heart rate to say the least. The assignment was to go back to 1993, document the conditions before during and after the massive breast growth and bring back the documentary to be cataloged in the database for long-term study.

...for the sight was breath taking. Here was a young girl that had no control over body. Hormones out of control, her breasts resting on her thighs underneath the sheet on the bed. Later as I watched the doctor examine her, I could read her lips through the window: "When will the growth stop? Why do I have to get them removed? They feel kind' a good." It was as though she liked what was happening to her; like she wanted to see what was going to happen next. It was at that point that I made a professional error - I became involved in the case for personal reasons. I wanted to see what happened next too. I was overcome with emotion and desire to see what the next few weeks would bring, maybe the next couple of years. I forgot about the lives that I might be hurting and made a rash decision - I would bring the case study under my own ownership.

I waited until the room was empty later that night. I had entered the house through a basement window and quietly raced the stairs to the top. As the door swung open at the top of the stairway, I held my breath making sure everyone was indeed asleep. I rounded the corned to the girl's room and found myself of the other side of the window I had peeked into all day. She was laying there, peaceful, without understanding what was about to happen to her. I raised my hand up with the dial set for XXXX and touched her hand. Together we vanished from her current time and traveled through the fourth dimension until we reached our destination. Here she could live out her desire to grow big. Here I could watch her as she developed. Here she could experience the full effects of breast hypertrophy. Here there would be no knife. No operation. No manipulation of nature. Here, we would be alone to experience and document all of the effects of her breast development. But then, she awoke...
